Putting furniture together can be time consuming and frustrating – even if you get all the hardware and the pieces actually line up for you. I really don’t like new furniture, the quality just does not compare to vintage or antique pieces. Sometimes you have no choice.

This is our 820 ft lb electronic torque wrench, it is microprocessor controlled and auto shut off, it will automatically adjust the amperage, and will work from 110 or 220, and features a internal cooling fan and a brushless motor.
This Tool Cleaned the Competitons Clock. I want to thank the competitors for making a tool that is so easy to compete against. The competitons quality is horrible, it makes my job easier!!
Why use a Pneutorque® Pneumatic Torque Multiplier? Hand operated torque multipliers are ideal for low volume or intermittent use or when there is no power source available. However, for production lines or whenever a large number of bolts are involved, a powered multiplier will save a considerable amount of time. Pneutorque® operating is quiet. Less than 85dB(A) with absolutely no impacting. These two factors make Pneutorque® comfortable for the operator to use, reducing fatigue and consequently increasing safety.
On my torque wrench I can see the ft/lbs scale but on the handle that I twist there are numbers that say 0 2 4 6 8. What do these mean?
I understand what a ft/lb is, and how to torque a bolt. However, my previous torque (much older one) did not have these numbers on the twistable handle.
Ok, got it Ben and N E, thanks a bunch guys.
The shop manual shows the use of a special "pulley wrench" like the one in the photo below (see link below) in which the bolts on the outside of the pulley are tightened onto the arms of the wrench and then this wrench is used in conjunction with a breaker bar to remove the inner bolt.
Anyway, nobody near me seems to carry this pulley wrench. If we try to remove the bolt without it, the camshaft just turns along with the breaker bar. We need a way to hold the pulley (from the top, not the outside) that will keep it from turning while we use the breaker bar to remove the large bolt in the center holding it on.
Any (reasonable) ideas other than taking it to a repair shop? We want to do this ourselves.

If I use a 7/16th inch wrench to put a nut onto a bolt, what is does the 7/16th refer to? Is the nut 7/16th in diameter or is the bolt 7/16th in diameter?
If it is not the diameter of the bolt, what is the diameter of a bolt that it used with a 7/16th wrench?
