Second track from the ’93 album No Need for Alarm. Del is amazing. His combo of interesting delivery, catchy beats and humour is just mezmorizing and addictive… I recommend his first album (I Wish My Brother George Was Here) and the album this song is from (No Need for Alarm) You may also recognise Del’s voice as an MC for Damon Albarn’s Gorillaz project.

Today’s bikes are tough, but they’re held together by fasteners that mustn’t be stressed. Many components come with recommended torque settings. Breach these settings and you may void your warranty. It now makes sense to use torque wrenches. Torque is a measurement of torsion, a twisting force. A “torque wrench” has a spring-loaded indicator that gives a numerical readout of the amount of torque being applied through it. To check the recommended torque settings for the components on your bike, visit www.weldtite.co.uk where there’s a list of recommended settings. http
Reloaded for louder volume on my narration… A quick video noting the John Masen Muzzle Break Ruger 10-22 Steel Blue on product number 183530 for .49 from MidwayUSA. One of the last few “mods” planned for this “tacti-cool” project. Wanted to keep the video short, so I don’t go into grand detail on the installation – it’s fairly straight forward. NOTE HOWEVER – the allen wrench with the kit actually seemed a bit too small. It worked to loosen the screw and start tightening it (for the photo used) but in trying to snug down the set screw it actually started to STRIP OUT – not the screw part, just the head where the allen wrench went into. I went & got my better set of allen wrenches from the garage & found one that fit nice & tight to snug it down the final time with the Permatex Threadlocker RED on the set screw as noted in the vid. Love the look… and am very impressed with the ease of installation (minus the allen wrench issue of course…). This is exactly the look I was hoping for since a “true” muzzle break really doesn’t serve a required need on a 22LR system. Just need a light system on there and I’ll be good-to-go! (Some video of me actually shooting it along with my modified Remington 870 wouldn’t hurt either…) Enjoy! ~SlimJ
